Green21 has non-profit status through fiscal sponsorship provided by the Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC). Green21 is seeking donors and sponsors to help underwrite production of the broadcast series and the affiliated online properties.

Letter of intent from
American Public Television (APT)

The first season of Green21 focuses on the issues of the day in the U.S., supplemented by international stories in China, India, Brazil and Switzerland. The second season will shift the international focus to other regions of the world, highlighting issues in Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Australia and Venezuela.

Each half-hour episode will highlight an area of sustainability, such as energy, food, water, economics, transportation and smart building. Every season, new episodes will revisit these themes with timely topics.

Along with its partners and engaged participants, Green21 will continue adding new content and tools to its online properties, growing into a recognized, trusted brand across multiple platforms.
